James Mayinga joins Bidvest Wits

James Mayinga joins Bidvest Wits

Posted: 7 August 2012 Time: 06:03 pm

Former Moroka Swallows left-back James Mayinga has joined Bidvest Wits on a two-year deal.

Swallows dragged their feet since the expiry of his contract at the end of June and when they finally met with the player, they offered him a one-season contract.

New Wits coach Antonio Habas put a call through directly to Mayinga and told the player he was keen on having him at Wits, and the player accepted the move.

Habas and Mayinga know each other from their days at Mamelodi Sundowns.

Dis 's just a waste of money how can you sign Mayinga instead of Khumalo mara Wits please. It's like replacing Katsande with Zva. Den 's like doing nothing.

Good move boy, always remember, you're not getting any younger, just take anything and believe me, that will bring bread in your family's table. Remember to work hard so you get your contract renewed after two years. Good luck.

This season Im telling you, watch out. Its gonna be a very exciting, entertaining season. All teams seems to be tired to be so called small teams. Just hope the league winners will be also be decided by the last games. Just hope they will Rise to the occassion this time around as the always Rise to the wrong destination. Sfiso Gumede H UMlazi
