Moon has Bafana ambitions

Bryce Moon says he is fitting in well at Bidvest Wits

After joining Bidvest Wits on a season long loan from SuperSport United, Bryce Moon says he is fitting in well and feels that with the tactics employed by new coach Antonio Lopez Habas ‘everything should be fine'.

After not getting as much game time as he would have liked at SuperSport, Moon joined the Clever Boys on a season long loan deal in order to get game time and possibly find his way back into the Bafana Bafana set-up

"Jose (Ferreira) called me and asked me if I would like to come (to Wits), and I thought it would be a good decision for me to come here, work hard and get some more game time," said Moon, before he discussed his personal ambitions for the season.

"(My ambition) is definitely to play more regular and get back into the Bafana team.

"I have played Bafana before and the coaches know what I am capable of, so basically it is just for me to get more game time and I should be there (in Bafana)."

Speaking of his new home the 26-year-old says he is fitting in well at Wits and feels it won't be long before the team starts putting good performances together.

"I'm feeling good. I have played with quite a few of the players before and everyone has been very welcoming. I have been enjoying the training sessions and looking forward to the season.

"He (Antonio Lopez Habbas) is trying to get his style of play and tactical discipline amongst the team. Once that is instilled and the guys understand each other and what the coach wants, everything should be fine.

"We have a fairly balanced team – in all different areas we are quite strong," concluded Moon.
