1. Lerato Chabangu
Man-of-the-Match Chabangu gave AmaZulu a hard time in Swallows' 2-0 MTN8 win. He showed composure to side-foot the ball home for the first goal, connecting with a pin-point pass from Lefa Tsutsulupa, and in the second half sent in a brilliant cross for Siyabong Nomvete to score the second.
2. Teko Modise
'The General' created three goals in Sundowns MTN8 quarter-final win over Chiefs and was Man of the Match. His passing was accurate and, in fact, if the strikers had utilised every ball he put through to them they could have scored more; sometimes they got a good pass from him and relaxed in possession, allowing Chiefs' defence to regroup, especially in the second half.
3. Patrick Tignyemb
Made a number of great saves for Celtic in the MTN8 quarter-final against Pirates. In the first half Ndumiso Mabena shot from just outside the box and he was well-positioned to make the save. It didn't end there, as from the save the ball fell to Daine Klate who headed goalwards and, although it was a weak header, Tignyemb was in a good position to make the save, despite the fact that he had just saved the initial shot a couple of seconds earlier. He reacted quickest, which was lucky, as his defenders were caught napping.
