Orlando Pirates skipper Lucky Lekgwathi says he is happy after the MTN8 semi-final draw

Orlando Pirates skipper Lucky Lekgwathi says he is happy after the MTN8 defending champions were drawn against SuperSport United in the two-legged semi-finals.

Lekgwathi is well aware it won't be a stroll in the park for Bucs, but his source of happiness stems from the fact that the first leg will be at SuperSport United's ground which he feels is an advantage for Pirates.

"We will give SuperSport the respect they deserve, because for us it will be a mountain to climb," he says.

"I'm happy because we will play the first match away, because even if we come away with a draw we know Orlando is our slaughterhouse. I think it is nice to start away, because it gives you an opportunity to finish the job at home," he adds.

The venues, dates and times will be announced this week.

In all Fairness guys, Pirates is not convincing at all. Celtic had a better day on Friday, and those who blindly follow Pirates are only fooling themselves!!!

Sometimes you need pure luck to win games, and Pirates have been riding that Lucky Wave for the past 2 seasons!!
If your objcetive, you'll only agree with my sentiments!!!

Gavin Hunt will then compromise his defensive approach.

There is no away game for Pirates, we have fans all over this country and we are going to fill the stadium to full capacity. SSU will lose to Pirates fans, like we did in Polokwane in the league race.

Slaugher-house, Okapi i know ur English is improving but please stop misrepresentaing and confusing words- when you have a bull to slaughter in front of you, do you slaugher it or do you beg it to die- the latter seemed to be the case on Friday when celtics was robbed through proper channels... it seemed to me you begged Celtic to die.

Pirates second team walloped Sundowns (the team dat toyed 4 times wth u in de frist half) during pre-season games
Pirates also hanged Chiefs during CBL cup

Sundowns might hve toyed wth Chiefs, but dey are stil far from beating de champions if wat i saw is anything to go by....de thing is Chiefs perfomance is below de standard of de PSL

Chiefs shuld play de lykes of Powerlines n Baroka....stil dey wil get walloped

I thought I pleaded with you to never show your A$$hole to Pirates, they'll put their tolie in and nail you multiple times. If you trully believe that Pirates play is "GOOD" then i think that Black and White TV that you've been watching at the Hostels needs a serious upgrade. At least get a 54cm Colour number...
