Masilela still has a one-year contract with Maccabi Haifa in Israel, but it looks like he is no longer in their plans. He spent the past season on loan at Getafe in Spain.
After the Bafana Bafana defender was spotted sitting with Jimmy Tau and Siphiwe Tshabalala during the match, the rumour is that he will be unveiled as a Chiefs player before the end of this week.
However, coach Stuart Baxter, who was livid at his defence after the match, says he does not know anything about the player joining them at the moment.
"I don't really know what you talking about to be fair, I also don't know who my players speak to. I can't be interested in any player in South Africa just because one of my players speaks to them," Baxter says.
"I think if we were interested in the player you will hear it from the club through official channels, to answer your question I don't think so," he says.
Baxter says he was surprised about the way his backline defended against Sundowns, especially in set-pieces, where Chiefs conceded three goals.
"If any coach says that he is worried after conceding four goals, if he is telling the truth he will say yes. Because you don't like conceding four goals," he says.

Instead of buying Holding player dey again went to de wrong side first dey bring Gaxa who was injured now is another injury player Masilela, dey must bring of young good player like Mokotjo, Mokeke and sfiso Vilakazi from Ajax dan wasting time with dat injury player, anyway or may be dey want to have all de reject from Bafana.
