Amidu sad to leave Chiefs

Black Leopards new signing Brian Abbas Amidu sad to leave Kaizer Chiefs

Posted: 3 August 2012 Time: 11:38 am

Brian Amidu has admitted he was hurt when he was deemed surplus to requirements at Kaizer Chiefs, but the Zimbabwean striker says he will prove his worth at Black Leopards.

Amidu moved from Amakhosi to Lidoda Duvha recently and he discloses to KickOff.com that leaving Chiefs without playing an official match for them was a bitter pill to swallow.

"I was sad to leave Chiefs without making my debut for them, but in the end I took it in good spirit ... maybe it wasn't God's plan for me to play for Chiefs so I just accepted my fate and moved on to Black Leopards," he says.

Amidu joined Chiefs in January this year, but his stay was blighted by injury.

Now it is new beginnings for the 22-year-old and he intends to grab his opportunity with the Limpopo outfit.

"I feel happy to have joined the team and I'm fit to play from the start of the season. I mean, remember, I was injured for most of the time I was at Chiefs, but now I'm fully fit.

"As a team, we have an opportunity to correct some mistakes from last season and I'm happy to be part of the team that I think will do well in the new season. I'm confident we will be a better team."

Now they have provided a R11.5M for Rusike who is a trialist at Ajax Cape Town...talking of obsession and addiction of fellow Zim cheap labour.

Brian, keep your head up, I trust you will come back an improved glamour boy... it's not you, it's that mpandlane called VV who dismantled Chiefs and made it his personally customised playstation team- now Baxter could not work with someone who did not touch the ball for his team- only if you played at least a signle game...

Hade Boy.......we had to look at the Balance Sheet in order to accommodate the new signees. Sorry you had to be sacrificed. You see the Chief Financial Officer at Kaizer Chiefs Pty Ltd had to be robed in and explain if we can sustain the salary bill if certain players. Then the Investment Analyst was also called later to come do the previous season ROI (return on Investment) and it didnt look good at all, hence your chopping. It was just pure business, nothing personal or homophobic .

Other teams mainly OP who does not have the above mentioned academic proffesionals, find themselves in the red. They had just recently failed to pay R 2 Million for a resource who really handed them silverware last season. Well you cant blame them, Their Chairman thinks he's a medical doctor, and we know reading is not his strong points.

Black & Gold, until OP faithfools admit Kaizer Cheifs shares the same stage with Coca-Cola in terms consumer market domination in Africa.

This season will be even tougher than the last one, remember every game will play starting on sunday against Sundowns is a must win although we can't win every game but if we lose the coach and the players will feel an added pressure which might result in a lot of mistakes going forward! Brian Abas Amidu my word of advise to you is to try and focus on Black Leorpards, you should be grateful of the opportunity presented to you because at Leopards you have a fair chance of playing and proving your worth under a minimized pressure. Keep your head up boy you might get a second chance if you performs at Lidoda Dhuva. Khosi for Life!
