Orlando Pirates fans will have to wait a little longer before they see some of the club's new signings in action, specifically Onyekachi Okonkwo and Takesure Chinyama.
Pirates host Bloemfontein Celtic in the MTN8 quarterfinals on Friday night, but Bucs coach Augusto Palacios has warned that Okonkwo and Chinyama are not ready for action … just yet.
“Err, not yet. The two players are working on their physical condition. Okonkwo is about 80 per cent to full fitness and Takesure is a very good player, but the physical trainer Japhet [Borges] is still working on him,” Palacios says.
“Now those two players are not ready to play," he adds.
Bucs' other new signings, Patrick Phungwayo, Ayanda Gcaba, Manti Moholo and Mpho Makola, are on par with the rest of the squad in terms of fitness and it is likely they may be considered for the Celtic clash.

We dont need Okonko yet, wait until we play Sundowns n Chiefs, i want him to teach them what is ibhathu.
No one beats Pirates at Orlando Stadium and this is a fact.
wether from a fan base or game itself, we are going to destroy Celtics, every defender in the PSL fear BBM and this is a fact because he always disturb them on how he destroyed Man United n other big teams in Europe and the giggle instead of doing the job.
Miyeni will stil the hearts of many Bucs fans, the boy is just a genius. Manyisa remains the crowds most spoken about at the stadium. U Jali umhlekazi wami, the evergreen Lion King.
Daine Klate our lucky charm,
Champ Mriyo (Trebble kings of SA): Fitness in Zim is not the same as fitness at Bucs, we have high stanards and Njenje is very strict when in comes to fitness.
Goalie: Meyiwa
Defense:Happy, Ntsimbi, Ayanda, Boca
Midfield: Sifiso, Oupa, AJ, Klate

He's finished !!!!
Your team is excellent. You can even choose our Yebo Yes teams comprising of the likes of Nanana Ntuli, Tsepo Liphoko, Tumelo Mopedi & many more, we will win any game. Remember, Pirates win their games because they have instilled fear amongst teams & have been so dominant to the extent that players gasp in ow when they see their role models & ask 4 authographs instead of playing.
In our next game against KC we will field no one, still KC will not even dare to score in an empty net because of the wrath that will come for them. The score will be 0-0, with the likes of Nyawana shooting wide, Parker parking, Majoro looking at his majoros, Nale crying, Jnr asking for a make-up kit from Yeye, Josta worrying about wrinkles on his guga face, Khune hlokolozing, etc.
The technical team... Stuart Frauster will be cooking another cv, Nurse Khumalo will be busy with his drawing board, Zwane thinking about games where he used his hands to rob other teams.
Heberx will worry about the corruption charges as we will be singing "wenyuku'mbombela" song on the stand. Jess will be in the toilet doing "devil knows what".
