Former Orlando Pirates defender Lucas Thwala is training at SuperSport United after being handed his clearance by Pirates recently.
According to a source close to Matsatsantsa the defender is expected to finalise a deal soon.
"Both SuperSport United and Thwala have already agreed on personal terms but were waiting for him get his free clearance from Pirates," says the source.
Meanwhile striker Bradley Ritson has resurfaced at SuperSport hoping to impress coach Gavin Hunt.
Ritson was on the books of Bidvest Wits last season but his time with the Clever Boys was plagued by injuries.

When we dont release players you call us fools, yet when we release players to get game time elsewhere, still you call us fools. Tinashe`s contribution to his team cant be equalled to Thwala`s, furthermore chips doesnt have a notable destroyer, while Pirates have more than enough where Thwala used to play. Pirates won double treble without any significant contribution from Thwala. I n sokka you dont tamper with winning combination. Pirates owe Thwala nothing, they introduced him to pro football and have been there for him throughout his injury plagued career. To defend, create & score goals is what players are signed for, its their job & doesnt guarantee lifetime contract.
ball possession Pirates 71% and Chiefs 29% and people claim Yeye dominated.
Where is Lordjerry and what is happening at the university, student cannot interpret stats.
