SuperSport United won the Mopani Mayoral Charity Cup tournament

SuperSport United won the Mopani Mayoral Charity Cup beating Moroka Swallows 4-0 in the Final played at Giyani Stadium on Sunday.

United qualified for the Final beating Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in the first semi-final while Moroka Swallows walloped Vodacom side Baobab Zero Fake FC 5-0 in the other semi-final.

Clifford Mulenga proved to be the hero for SuperSport in the Final scoring a hat-trick and Thabiso Nkoane scored the fourth goal in the second half to complete the Swallows rout.

The tournament was watched by a crowd close to 12 000 fans.

Swallows have only 30 mins break before playing the Final and Supersport have over 2hrs break. it affected swallows badly as they have small squad.
Pirates is not 1 skipper team, you must show for the Zulu Ass

It is sad that Gordon is not around to go down with his aging team. I feel for the new tectically bankrupt coach, he will be blamed.

The issue of Swai resting for 20m is an excuse. If they have a team of 24 or more players, they should have used their fringe players for the 1st game & their old dogs for the second.

Swallows are definately going to suffer huge beating in the league this year if they dont beep up the squad. The loss to Supersport is an indication that they will be the team lying at the bottom of the teams. The influence of Gordon Igesund is gone. I think they will be kicked out at the weekend when they play against Amazulu.

Swallows this team of madalas exhausted themselves last season competing with the double treble champs. Now they are finished.
