Baxter speaks on potential signings

Posted: 26 July 2012 Time: 03:38 pm

Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter says the Carling Black Label Cup clash against Orlando Pirates will give him an idea of whether he has got enough quality at his disposal to compete for honours this season.

Amakhosi have been strongly linked with Erwin Isaacs and Matthew Rusike, but the club's football manager Bobby Motaung made it clear Baxter has the last say.

KickOff.com spoke to the Englishman today to ascertain whether Chiefs would be signing any more players, and Baxter says he will decide after the Soweto Derby.

"I think the match against Pirates will give me a very good idea of where we stand in terms of the balance of the squad, because Pirates have been the superior team in the last two seasons," he says.

"We will obviously need one or two players as we go along, because a club like Chiefs is always monitoring the market. At this moment I can say we have no definite targets, but the Pirates match will give us an idea whether we need more," Baxter adds.

Jealous down, this team is soo professional waitsi mara. Dear fans of other teams, please know that, that training kit these lad are wearing is not returned and washed again, Oh noo. They take this kit home and give to their yournger bros to wear and tell their friends who are Orlando Piarates fans that, "My brother works, for some company, that is listed on the JSE, here is his work uniform". Pirates players return the kit everytime after training, if you are caught taking it home you'll be fine 80% of your small salary.

I can hear Master Baxter on this pic saying "Head to that corner for a quick jog lads" . We have long healed from apartheid, OP please do somethingnyana asseblief, is English that scary mara? Look at the Young man George Lebese, he's enjoying the conversation
