The new deal, which was officially announced last night, was warmly welcomed by Ea Lla Koto general manager Rantsi Mokoena.

"Free State Stars would like to express its gratitude and appreciation to Mr Price Sport and Maxed for their decision to join the exciting football industry through entering into a relationship with Free State Stars.

"We would like to welcome you into soccer and we trust that the next three years will be filled with excitement and great success between the two companies."

Mokoena says he hopes Maxed will be a hit with Free State Stars' players and supporters.

"We are proud that we are the first professional soccer team to wear the Maxed product. Maxed have developed a high-tech jersey for the team and the players cannot wait to wear it in their first game against SuperSport United in the MTN8."

Mr Price Sport managing director Clint Larsson says the partnership heralds a new era of involvement in South African football for the Mr Price Group.

"It is an honour and privilege for Mr Price Sport to be associated with a great football team such as Free State Stars who have established a long and distinguished legacy in South African football.

"We trust that our Mr Price Sport core values of passion, value and partnership will be reflected in our sponsorship of the Free State Stars and we look forward to assisting the team to achieve their soccer dreams."

Now i agree that Zebras starts things and others follow; it was Platinum Stars now FSS with these lousy kits.

The third worst kit in history

How are they going to attract supporters and even players with a kit like that...
Mara it would have suited Onyekachi " King of Gorilla's" Okonkwo

Just when I thought I saw enough with that ugly zooturena kit with karate`s yellow belt, now this. I give up. I saw one zebra fan yesterday with bald head and six yellow spots in his bald head wearing that ugly jersey with yellow belt. I greeted and he responded 'bhudda bless you'

It seems like more teams are diverting from their traditional colours or are adding some kind of new colour to their range. Well done teams they days of one colour dimension are loosing their grip.

Just admit it, it is not about Chiefs jearsey but your hate for the team it'self. There is nothing that can make one say the jersey is ugly. Well we Khosis are happy with it you can go and bang your head against & see if we care about your feeling.

Transfer Talk

Posted on 26 July 2012 - 11:58

Orlandopiratesfc.com can confirm that six players from the first team have been placed on the transfer list. The list was finalised following a Technical Team meeting earlier in the week.

The players on transfer are:

• Dikgang Mabalane
• Lizo Mjempu
• Talatou Boubacar
• Njabulo Ntusi
• Chiukepo Msowoya
• Njabulo Manqana

Furthermore, the technical team has agreed to release a list of players who are available for loan.

• Hlabane Kutumela
• Patrick Ngidi
• Patrick Mashele
• Benjamin Nthete
• Aubrey Ngoma
• Thabo Rakhale

Meanwhile, Orlandopiratesfc.com can also confirm that defender Lucas Thwala will not be part of the 2012/13 squad. The club has decided against exercising its option to renew the player’s contract and have subsequently spoken to Thwala this morning.

Lucas Thwala has been a loyal servant of Orlando Pirates for many years and the club would like to wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

You seem angry that I view your kit with yellow belt as ugly, I repeat it is ugly. I dont have any reason to hate anyone nor anything. But have got freedom to voice my view re any team`s kit. FSS, PSTARS & chips jerseys are ugly in my opinion. Why do you choose to say I hate chips, while not PSTARS & FSS, as my view is the same for all mentioned teams.

I would predict that you are of the view that FSS`s kit is ugly, and am sure you would view such opinion as not based on hatred nor love for FSS, but on what you see. Stop being unnecessarily sensitive over petty issues.

Looking at all these players, they can all make the first team at Zebras.

Signdogs should also do the same with their unwanted players.

Pirates supporters like Champ Marapo are the most lunatic people I have ever met. Anything about KC is bad in their stupid eyes. The Zebra kit sell more than any other team kit in SA including in some European teams according to Nike. Pirates ugly button red and black jerseys that looks more like rugby jerseys than a soccer jersey were not even closer to FSS Umbro jersey or Cosmos puma jersey last season. Their jersey was the second ugliest after the Santos kit. Their current addidas jerseys are like practise kits for European teams and very cheap. The Ajax kit is much better than theirs by far. The new KC jersey launched on national tv is the most beautiful and most expensive jersey and it is more similar to the Brazil kit in terms of design. Almost all journalists who were at the launch agreed that the kit is beautiful and quality. The fashion designers in the country also attested to that, it is only few Pirates retards who think otherwise because of their hatred for KC. Lastly the new Platinum Stars jersey is beautiful in terms of colours and designs, it is also quality far better than what is currently in store for Pirates. The Pirates jerseys have a tendency of loosing colours as the time goes on and that is not the case with quality KC Nike jerseys.
