Mushekwi steals the show in Swaziland

Nyasha Mushekwi steals the show for Mamelodi Sundowns preseason in Swaziland

Posted: 26 July 2012 Time: 08:54 am

Mamelodi Sundowns completed their pre-season training in Swaziland on a high note when they beat Manzini Wanderers 5-0 at Mavuso Stadium in Manzini last night.

The Brazilians have played three matches in Swaziland, against Mbabane Swallows, Manzini Sundowns and Mbabane Highlanders, and have scored a total of 15 goals.

The Johan Neeskens-led side have lost just one match in pre-season training, losing 6-5 on penalties to Orlando Pirates in the Mbombela Cup.

Zimbabwean striker Nyasha Mushekwi stole the show against Wanderers, scoring a hat-trick to bid goodbye to the Swazi fans who have supported the Brazilians since they arrived in the Mountain Kingdom two weeks ago.

The other goals were scored by Richard Henyekane and new signing Emmanuel Baffour.

Sundowns also played Manzini Sundowns earlier in the day, beating them 2-1 courtesy of goals from Elias Pelembe and Edward Manqele.

The MTN8 will be a true reflection of their direction this season.

Pirates will win the PSL championship again, plus Nedbank plus MTN8 n a 2nd star

Chiefs n Sundowns can fight for Telkom

Whats new here, they did the same last season and even went on to Powerlining another team 24-0, but when it comes to the real thing they will always choke.

SONDOWNS WON SOMES GAMES LAST SEASON BY SCORING 4 OR 5 GOALS AGAINST SOME PSL TEAMS IN MORE THAN 3 OR 4 GAMES SO ITS NOT ONLY SWAZI TEAMS. HOW MANY GAMES DID CHIEFS OR PIRATES WIN BY 5 GOALS LAST SEASON. PIRATES LOST 3 NIL TO SANTOS AND SUNDOWNS BEAT THEM 5 TWO. PIRATES BEAT A VODACOM LEAGUE SIDE 1 NIL IN NEDBANK AND SUNDOWNS SCORED 24 AGAINST A TEAM FROM THE SAME LEAGUE. STOP JEALOUS AND APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT SUNDOWNS IS A FREE SCORING SIDE IN THE PSL.

I bet they paid all teams they played against to loose the games.

Formation 1 0 9 was in full swing in Swaziland.

Nine Strikers played in the last games at once but only 1 scored, what a return in investment

The only team with 5 championship throphys..(you got to love them),,and what makes things worse is they not praise mediocrity like other team ( Chimpanzees) were under average quality rings the bell....

@Bin Laden

I here how you and mafemvula are trying to convince yourselves but my question is,what is the use of beating 1 team 5-2 and then play 9 draws in 11 games?

Is like a guy who can go 1 hour flat during sex and shoot water compared to the 1 who go for 10 min and impregnate a woman.

Your team has in the last few seasons been and will always be,Chokers.PERIOD
