Sources close to Nigeria captain Joseph Yobo have told KickOffNigeria.com that Everton and Fenerbahce are close to an agreement for the transfer of the big defender.
Yobo has been on loan at the Turkish club for two seasons, but a permanent move has been held up by a difference in valuation between both clubs.
However, it appears Everton have now agreed to accept Fenerbahce's £2-million offer, rather than hold out for their initial £5-million.
But while a fee seems to have been agreed, there are still minor details to be sorted out.
“We are still on it but it is now closer; just a few things left to be agreed,” a source close to the player tells KickOffNigeria.com.
