Khumalo training with development

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Sibusiso Khumalo has also been left in the cold by Downs

KickOff.com has learnt that Mamelodi Sundowns defender Sibusiso Khumalo has also been left in the cold after he was told to train with the development team.

Khumalo, together with Wandisile Letlabika, Jackson Mabokgwane and Ramahlwe Mphahlele, have been left out from the team that went to Swaziland for pre-season training.

Khumalo was signed from Swallows in 2010 and was rated one of the country's best young talents, but has not seen much game-time at Chloorkop.

Meanwhile, KickOff.com has also been told that Sundowns and Bloemfontein Celtic have failed to agree on a move for Mphahlele after it was reported previously that the two were negotiating a deal.

Mpahlele is still training with the development team and it seems that the player will be stuck at Sundowns, despite the coach saying they are not on his plans.

Celtic coach Clinton Larsen confirmed that they will not be signing Mphahlele anymore.

"We have just signed Dominic Isaacs and we won't be signing another defender," he said.

Many are opening their eyes, at the end of it all, these guys are athletes and its on the field of play where they get the most recognition, not the amount of money that Sundowns pays them.

One gud example of a player who rushed into joining a team that had more than enough left -backs just for teh love of money, and now his career has stagnated and will soon be shipped out to a Vodacom team. When Chiefs came knocking for Bhasera's replacement he ignored them saying he will fight for his place @Downs and that he's not afraid of competition. What now?

If you don't want players why don't you release them to other teams either on loan or free transfer.

Whats the use of having someone on your payroll but not contributing to the company strategic goals and objectives. You know some offices are run by dom people.

I can bet if these monies of Motsepe were in the hands of hardworking disperate peole like Jessica Motaung and his brother we would see proper football development. It is unfortunate they don't have money to run their club hence their underground antics.

sibusiso Khumalo and Mphahler are good players , good enough to play to any other psl team. They must go black to Swallows. Zeca worked with them before he knows their strength and capabilities. They can add a big value to the Birds and creat a smoothy competition on the left flank and the defence respectively.

On laduma's last issue he talked too much.He was sucking it trying to buy face. Now he should realise that Sunflops don't care even you try to be nice to them. They just chuck you out like trash because they have money & rich. They will never care about the players' careers & lives as long they can afford to pay them (players) training with development.
Pity S.Khumalo has a wonderful talent. He won't be a legend in the game of football if he doesn't find a quick way to get out of sunflower.Buy yourself out of the contract or seek a loan overseas to wait for the end of your contract. Just do something boy.

@Bathandwa184, you are displaying your stupidity again, the subject is Khumalo here not Chiefs. Those black belts were worn to monitor heart rates of players. Yu should have asked idiot.
