Mabokgwane could be history at Downs

Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Jackson Mabokgwane looks likely to leave the club.

Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Jackson Mabokgwane looks likely to leave the club after coach Johan Neeskens left him out of the squad that is in Swaziland for pre-season training.

Mabokgwane was recalled to Sundowns and offered an extension on his contract after spending last season with Platinum Stars.

But the former national Under-20 goalkeeper is in Johannesburg training on his own.

Sundowns PRO Kabelo Mosito tells KickOff.com that Mabokgwane is not part of the club's pre-season training.

"Yes, it's true that Jackson is not part of the team that is in Swaziland for the pre-season training.

“This is a technical team decision and I wouldn't be in good position to give further information about him with the team and technical team still in Swaziland," he adds.

Sundowns have already sent defender Ramahlwe Mphahlele to train with the club's development after Neeskens announced that he was not part of his plans together with Buhle Mkhwanazi.

I think some of us need to stop supporting fotball with emotions_these players join $undown$ knowingly(they want more money and less game time) the pressures that come with it_and dont be suprised when $ndown$ sign another keeper now_

The better option was to release Calvin Marlin but the coach knows better than us.Point of correction ,Laffor is a winger not a stricker or should i say we play him as a winger.Mushekwi,Mphela,Manqele,Rodgers and Emmanuel Baffour are our strickers .

Wait a minute! Why not ask Stars why they are not signing the player, and paying Sundowns a fee for his transfer?
