Orlando Pirates charged for pitch invasion after winning the League against Golden Arrows

The PSL has charged Orlando Pirates with spectator misbehaviour and unsporting behavior, because of the pitch invasion after they won the League.

Pirates were scheduled to appear before the PSL DC this week, but they have requested that the case be postponed.

The statement from the PSL reads: "It is alleged that on May 19, in their League match against Golden Arrows at Moses Mabida Stadium, Pirates supporters behaved in an unruly or unsporting manner in that after the fulltime whistle they invaded the pitch, which is a demarcated area."

Pirates won the match 4-2, with goals from Benni McCarthy (two), Lucky Lekgwathi and Siyabonga Sangweni, to defend the Premiership trophy.

Guess we entitled to do so as this is one of the way to show our happiness by joining the best team in the PSL on the pitch so that we celebrate with the boys, so may the Zebra's keep quite as there are not allow near the grass in case they end up grazing.

Ahh we know, they will be fined R10 000 and the case is closed. Even though this incident is a repeat of a repeat. It just showes how unused to winning they are. Behaving like a legion of hooligans that they are, even infront of millions. Atleast we wont have such nonsense this season because they are not scheduled to win anything. They will only win in the noise competition.

That was nothing compared to what i saw when Man. City clinched the title last season, so PSL rather focus on getting the new CEO nd Leave Pirates alone!!!!!!

Whatever, I urge all Bhakhaniyas to always be ready to invade the pitch every May. I advice CAF to expect worse invading than this since we gon work our magic.

This mamparas will never learn, invading the pich to do ze JUJU dance is our trademark!! All Baccerneers will never regret invading.

The truth is if some small team with its yello thang wins something, they will also do what we do since we are ze trend-setters.
Its a pity we so greedy hence their empty shelves not to mention cabinets.
