Their kit is supplied by sportswear giants Umbro, who in March signed a two-season deal to become the technical supplier of the Rustenburg-based club.
Platinum Stars will now be spotting a green and white strip for home matches, unlike in previous seasons where they wore a predominantly blue strip.
Platinum Stars general manager Jaison Raine hopes the new playing kit will inspire the club to glory during the upcoming season.
"Platinum Stars are privileged to be associated with such a big sports brand," Raine says.
"We are looking forward to sharing the same success that English Premier League champions Manchester City [who are also sponsored by Umbro] have enjoyed," he adds.
Besides, the England national team and English Premiership champions Manchester City, Umbro is also the technical supplier to the Republic of Ireland and the Sweden national teams.
Umbro also supplies kit for English clubs Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers, French Ligue 1 side Lille and Spanish La Liga outfit Athletic Bilbao.

The is only 1 real kit in PSL and the rest are napkins
The shorts are just not ayoba, they should have sticked to the beautiful one they used last season atleast it was lookable.
Unimpressed
1. Look at their Kit for last season and the season before.
2. Look at their team colors.
3. They have also rebranded their logo - too nice
4. Take a look at their impressive website and their facebook page
5. Take a look at their trainning facilities.
These guys are doing an impressive work.... Only if my so called big team could learn from this and start by refreshing our out of style logo to a more freshly looking one.
Well done Platinum Stars...
