Nigeria international Brown Ideye scored his second goal of the two-week old 2012/13 Ukraine Football League on Sunday to help Dynamo Kyiv record a 1-0 victory away at Stadion Dynamo Valery Lobanovsky against local rivals Arsenal Kyiv.

Ideye who notched 12 goals in 27 appearances last season scored in the third minute to add to the goal he scored last weekend against Metalurh Donetsk, which was another 1-0 victory.

It is now two goals for the Nigerian in the new season and six points for Dynamo Kyiv. Coincidentally both goals were assisted by Andriy Yarmolenko, a 22 year-old Russia international.

Haruna Lukman and Ayila Yussuf were unused substitutes in the match. Ideye will hope to continue the scoring run to get into the Super Eagles squad that will be named by Stephen Keshi to play the crucial 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Liberia in September and October.
