Xulu move to Russia still on

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Siyanda Xulu awaits outcome of FC Rostov trial

Posted: 23 July 2012 Time: 01:29 pm

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Siyanda Xulu will know the outcome of his trials with Russian side FC Rostov before Thursday.

Xulu left the country last week hoping to secure a contract with Rostov. The defender has also had trials in the past with English Premiership side Arsenal and Spanish giants Barcelona.

However his agent Paul Mitchell of Sivuma Sports Agency is confident that Xulu will make it this time around in Russia.

"I spoke to him and he says that he is enjoying himself in Russia. He should know his fate either tomorrow or Wednesday," says Mitchell.

"He has been overseas before and has got the experience to cope with everything in Russia," he adds.

This agent is sending Xulu to the "wasteland" of Russia to end his football career. Which South African footballer ever improved their career prospects when they moved to Russia? None of them. They went to Russia and died in Russia. None of them got a transfer to western europe like Holland, France, Germany or England from their Russian clubs. Xulu will regret this move.

@Bucajovich and ur friend you don't know soccer one of thoise fans support players based on which team u support, if u hate Sundowns u also hate their players whether they gud or not. I'm not a SUndowns player but this guy knows how to play football and thats why hes been invited for trials unlike u can't even qualify to be invited for interview than a person who always get shortlisted that shows the pontential amongst the individual.

@Anonymous , even Siphiwe Tshabalala was invited for trials DOES IT MEAN HE IS GOOD PLAYER, the invitation doesn't necessary mean you are good player as long as the agent utilises any chances of taking a player overseas there do so only to be disappointed by the cows like boXulu who you call quality as he will once again be back at Sunchokers this coming season. so live with it CHOKER.

I like this guy, he plays it simple and easy just like Yeye. I hope he makes it there same way Sibaya and Booth did.
He is very underated in the same mould as Haumphrey Khoza, they are both outstanding.

Good uick blackman, go make us proud.

you are taking nonsense. clubs invite players based on what they have seen on video and most european clubs have scouts all over the world. If pirates have useless players do not make that Xulu's problem. Which pirates will ever get invited by Arsenal? none. I am a big chiefs supporter and we have exported many players before because they qualify. you only export chansa and okowanko.

Rusike, Hobos target is TRIALING at Ajax but my lousy neighbours want to sign him outright.

I said that boy is a cow but as you all know that at the Zoo every Monkey is welcomed.

Ajax is wise, the same cant be said about the "Krugersdorp Stadium" Team

On Xulu issue, this boy will be playing in the PSL for many years to come.

Just like Nyawana, this boy has been failing trials with flying colours.

The only difference is that he has been attending them at real teams, not Mvela.

Will Nyawana be attending trials again as soon as his paralic leg is healed?

You will hear stories as he was suppose to attend trials but because of injury he wont be going anymore...just wait for few days,Poppy will be lying to his lapdogs

Age is on his side but I have doubts that he will make a great defender. Maybe he will learn a lot and grow to be a solid and imposing centre back.

@SisterP, you are talking about the very same cows who are coming back from overseas because they failed?

Ncowsi is one of them,Musona is not even making the stands in Germany.

Obua is homeless with no team and others, i will check on my I-pad and will send u the list

U can export as many sheeps and cows from the Zoo as you can but they wont make it,Fact.
