In an interview with KickOff.com after the Soweto giants beat Mamelodi Sundowns 6-5 on penalties in the Final, Palacios says new signings like Manti Moholo, Patrick Phungwayo, Mpho Makola and Ayanda Gcaba acquitted themselves well.
“They have fitted in well and have shown a lot of hunger and determination to fight for a place in the starting line-up.
“We have a competitive side that is on the right track for the new season where we have to defend three of our cups,” Palacios says.
Commenting on the first game against Mbabane Swallows, ‘Njenje’ says that although the 4-1 scoreline suggests they had a walk in the park, the Swazi side gave them good practice.
“They committed a lot of mistakes at the back and we capitalised on that, otherwise they are not a bad side. Yes, there is a lot they need to fix, especially in defence, but they are not too bad.”

Since we won Mbobela Cup,will it also be donated to Charity with the money as there is no space for such cups at Mayfair?
The only reason we participated was for Charity and to show the light skinned guy team that w will beat them anytime.
These guys are the same age....
We will continue where we left off last term. The journey continues.
