Xulu leaving for Russia tonight

Mamelodi Sundowns player Siyanda Xulu to trial at Russian club Rostov

Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed that their defender Siyanda Xulu is leaving for Russia tonight for a trial at FC Rostov.

Xulu, who previously had unsuccessful trials at Barcelona and Arsenal, was recalled from Sundowns' camp in Swaziland after Rostov were given permission to have a look at him.

The 20-year-old returned home from Swaziland over the weekend to prepare for his departure to Russia.

Xulu was also on Spanish club Atletico Madrid's radar last year but nothing materialised, and the KwaZulu-Natal-born defender will be hoping this time he will finally make his move.

wow . . . how true is this, this boy is still 20 years old, ha ha ha i guess thats pure lies, anyway have good trials there, lets hope you don't get homesick as some of the south african boys who came back because of missing their families back home
