Orlando Pirates have reportedly failed in their attempt to have a look at DR Congo international Kazadi Diego Mutombo.
The 23-year-old's club AS Vita have, according to reports, told Pirates they are not willing to sell the player at the moment.
Mutombo, described as a "strong player who is good in the air and solid in the tackle, with a high level of skill and tactically very impressive", was expected to come for trials at Pirates on July 1.
However, AS are holding on to him.
