According to AmaTuks coach Steve Barker, Sundowns say they are keen on doing a deal, but that it should be an outright transfer instead of a loan.
“We are trying to do a deal with Sundowns. We have put in an offer after Sundowns indicated that they are not doing a loan deal for him anymore, but to sell him outright,” Barker informs KickOff.com.
Mkhwanazi was on loan at Bloemfontein Celtic last season, but this time he would be gone for good.
Sundowns and University of Pretoria have already done business together in this transfer window after Lionel Mutizwa moved to the newly-promoted side on a season-long loan.
Meanwhile, Barker also confirms that Dipsy Selolwane is as good as a Tuks player.
“He just needs to sign and we should finalise everything within the next 24 hours,” Barker adds.
