Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter will employ an experienced team in the new season judging by the shape of the team that he has been testing out as his starting line-up at training during the team's pre-season.

Baxter has been using Reneilwe Letsholonyane and returnee Siyabonga Nkosi as his twin central midfielders with Siphiwe Tshabalala operating on the left wing while Josta Dladla has been playing on the right.

New striker Kingstone Nkhatha has been working out as the main with Lehlohonolo Majoro as the shadow man supporting the Zimbabwean gunman.

At the back Itumeleng Khune has his place guaranteed between the posts with new signings Morgan Gould and Mulomowandau Matoho being 'test driven' in the heart of defence.

On the flanks Siboniso Gaxa has been running down the right with Jimmy Jambo on the left though Keegan Ritchie has also been getting a fair look in.

Competition for the right back position will get interesting when Jimmy Tau returns from injury while Kgotso Moleko is also standing ready to take his place following his signing from Bloemfontein Celtic.

While Nkhatha and Majoro appear to have the edge at the moment in attack Chiefs also have some useful options in Bernard Parker, Sthembiso Ngcobo, Kaizer Motaung Junior along with new teenage signing Sakhile Hlongwa.
