A season ago Ndlovu’s career was at crosswords as he was a free agent after his loan spell at Bloemfontein Celtic and Mamelodi Sundowns, who held his contract, decided to let him go.
Israeli side Bnei Yehuda then stepped in and offered him a four-year deal after impressing on trial at the club.
Fast forward to a season later and Ndlovu is hot property in Israel; so much so that one of the country’s biggest clubs, Maccabi Haifa, will pay Bnei Yehuda €1 500 000 (R15-million) for the marksman and seal a deal in the next few days.
We contacted the player’s agent Walter Mokoena, who confirmed the imminent deal.
“I’m aware that Maccabi Haifa are interested to sign Dino but I can’t say much until I’m in Tel Aviv. I will be there on Friday as I’m sorting out my travel arrangements from Paris at the moment. A deal has been agreed in principle and we will finalise his personal terms,” Mokoena tells KickOff.com.
Bnei will not only get R15 million for the striker, but they are set to get two players as well for Maccabi to seal the deal.
Ndlovu will then put pen to paper on a four-year deal.
