Premier League new boys University of Pretoria have signed Gabonese defender Charly Mossouno but are still assessing forgotten striker Dumisani Ngwenya along with retired Botswana international Dipsy Selolwane.

Mossouno – who was part of the Gabon national team at the 2012 Afcon – joins Tuks on a two year deal after having played for Missile in his homeland.

Graham Oosthuis, the Tuks team manager confirms the signing of the Gabonese defender whose arrival follows on the signing of Warren Bishop, Thabo Mosadi, David Radebe and Vincent Kobola.

Ngwenya is hoping to win a contract at Tuks after a lengthy spell on the sidelines during which he has tried his luck at five clubs without success.

Tuks have already lost almost half of the squad that they had last season.

Amongst those that have left for various reasons are Siya Mngoma, Aubrey Ngoma, Chibuzor Nwogbo, Nqobile Mpala, Sibusiso Dabi, Sibusiso Themba, Keeno Shellar, Karabo Masehela, Thabo Moleko, Philani Khwela, Lucky Mzizi and Buti Sithole.

Oosthuis says it is normal for the club to lose 10-15 players every season.
