Mamelodi Sundowns sign Alje Schut

Mamelodi Sundowns have completed the signing of Dutch defender Alje Schut from Dutch First Division side FC Utrecht.
KickOff.com broke the news on July 5 that the Brazilians were keen on signing the 31-year-old Schut, who starred for FC Utrecht for 13 seasons at the club.
Now it can be confirmed that Schut has signed for Sundowns, but we couldn’t immediately verify the length of his contract.
Sundowns confirmed the signing today by stating: “Alje Schut has been signed from Dutch First Division side FC Utrecht.”
Among the new foreign players in the team are Ghanaians Mumasi Abubakar and Emmanuel Baffor.
