Kaizer Chiefs forward Mpho Sitayitayi is trying his luck with the University of Pretoria.

Sitayitayi spent last season at Thanda Royal Zulu where he was on loan, but the loan spell has come to an end and the player has surfaced in Pretoria to try out at Tuks.

The 20-year-old has also apparently attracted interest from Ajax, Santos and Black Aces, but Tuks are step ahead after they sought permission from Kaizer Chiefs for the player to train with them.

KickOff.com can also reveal that Sitayitayi was on the brink of signing for Golden Arrows a week ago, but the deal fell through when Chiefs and Arrows couldn't agree terms.

Sitayitayi, who was a regular at Thanda, has been joined at Tuks by another Kaizer Chiefs player Tshegofatso 'Ninja' Ramabu.
