The two new signings were confirmed by the Chilli Boys’ general manager Wanda Mbenguzana.
“We have signed both players. Idrissa has already got his work-permit and we will now apply for Doumbia’s one as soon as possible,” Mbenguzana tells KickOff.com.
Doumbia and Saïdou were both in Niger’s 2012 Africa Cup of Nations squad when the West Africans made their maiden appearance in the tournament earlier this year.
Chippa were also close to a deal with another Niger striker, Moussa Maazou, but missed out on the player after he opted to sign for Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel.
Chippa today also unveiled form Golden Arrows and AmaZulu coach Manqoba Mngqithi as the head coach for the 2012/13 season.
