Free State plan grand farewell for Phiri

After enjoying a good season and a great relationship with coach Kinnah Phiri, Free State Stars will host a farewell dinner on Wednesday for the Malawian born coach, who has since parted ways with Ea Lla Koto to take over the coaching reigns of the Malawian national team.

Stars’ brand manager Rantsie Mokoena says that the function will take place after their game against Orlando Pirates at Goble Park Stadium on Wednesday.

"We won’t be making any changes to our technical team and the new coach will continue to work with Troughton and Sithole next season"

This is great as we seldom see coaches been given farewell's due to them leaving the club throgh the back door. Phiri did a great job and congrats as well to FSS.
