Usuthu scout Joel Faya tells KickOff.com this morning that the club has still not lost hope of signing Mashele from Soshanguve Sunshine, despite reports that he has already signed for Bucs.
KickOff.com now understands that both teams are now interested in Kutumela, who has also attracted interest from Premiership rookies Chippa United.
United scout Mike Lukhubeni confirms that his team has invited the 22-year-old defender for trials.
"He was one of the players that impressed me during the Vodacom tournament in Limpopo," Lukhubeni says. "We have since invited him for trials where the coach will have further look at him."
Meanwhile, Kutumela says he is still waiting for his agent to report back to him about the offers from Pirates, AmaZulu and Chippa.
"I know my agent is speaking to those three teams and we will meet soon to discuss which team I should play for next season," the Limpopo-born defender says.
