Lidoda Duvha’s decision was prompted by the unavailability of stadiums around Limpopo as the Peter Mokaba Stadium is being prepared for the new PSL season.
The Giyani Stadium will host the Mopani Mayor’s Cup and the Thohoyandou Stadium has been closed for the past five years.
“This is no longer just about Black Leopards, but about national pride as the team is representing the entire country,” Leopards’ Chief Thidiela says.
“It will also give an opportunity to the people around Gauteng to watch the match live in their back yard and we are appealing to all soccer loving people to come and support us as we have a mountain to climb against Almerreikh after losing 3-2 in Sudan last weekend explained Leopards spokesperson,” he adds.
Tickets for the match will be available at Computickets outlets and Shoprite/Checkers. Kick-off for the match will be at 15h00.
