KickOff.com can reveal that Mamelodi Sundowns have had a R7-million offer for Santos striker Eleazar Rodgers accepted.

With Santos relegated, their star players Rodgers, Erwin Isaacs and Wayne Arendse are all linked with transfers to big clubs.

SuperSport United were the first to bid for Rodgers, after which Bidvest Wits put down R5.5-million, but Sundowns then topped them both.

Orlando Pirates were also interested in the striker, however it looks like he is headed to Chloorkop, even though Sundowns have already made a big signing up front in Edward Manqele.

KickOff.com
has also learnt that Isaacs is heading to Kaizer Chiefs, with the deal already agreed – although Amakhosi football manager Bobby Motaung has denied the link.

Arendse told KickOff.com yesterday that he is unaware of any offers for his services as yet.
