Kaizer Chiefs and Black Leopards are yet to finalise the deal for Kingston Nkhatha, but both clubs say the deal is imminent.
Nkhatha is set to sign a three-year deal with Amakhosi, but the two clubs are still locked in discussions over his move.
Officials from both clubs say the deal should be wrapped up soon, but they have given no time frame when they expect to conclude the deal.
"We are going to finalise it soon," Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung says.
KickOff.com also contacted Leopards spokesperson Tendani Thidiela, who also made it clear that there are "no issues" with regards to the player moving.
"I don't think he will even train with us today (as Nkhatha prepares to leave), so there is no problem there," Thidiela adds.
