KickOff.com reported earlier today that Lucas Radebe, Fani Madida and Doctor Khumalo had been earmarked to join the set-up, but Mumble insists no final decision has been made.
Mumble, Safa's Chief Operations Officer, says the association are still in the process of discussing who the assistants will be, and Igesund has yet to put forward his preferences.
Sources within Safa had indicated to KickOff.com earlier today that Madida and Khumalo had been identified as Igesund’s assistant coaches, while former Bafana captain Radebe was believed to be in line for the post of team manager.
But Mumble says it would be wrong to present the trio as the men decided upon when discussions with Igesund are still ongoing.
"We have no problem with speculation about the three, but it cannot be said that Safa has decided on them – that would be unfair to Gordon as he still has to discuss his preferences with us," Mumble says.
Igesund himself confirms with KickOff.com that he has not settled up on his technical team. "I still have to discuss this with Safa. I will tell them who I believe should be my assistants."
