Chippa United boss Chippa Mpengesi will keep coach Roger Sikhakane for next season.

Sikhakane and the Chill Boys made history on Saturday by qualifying for the Premier League after only one season in the First Division.

Following their achievement, Mpengesi assured his club’s technical team that they will remain with the side next season.

"We have a coach who understands our team culture; I can't afford to have someone that will come with a different philosophy. I am happy with the coach and the technical team and that will remain the same with no changes," Mpengesi tells KickOff.com.

Meanwhile, midfielder William Thwala says his future with the Chilli Boys will be decided by Orlando Pirates. The midfielder was on loan to Chippa from Pirates.

Thwala was the standout player during the Promotional Play-off game against Santos on Saturday and crowned his super performance with a goal.

In a chat with KickOff.com, he confirms he will be back in Gauteng on Tuesday and hopes to meet Bucs coach Augusto Palacios to discuss his future.

"Every player would like to play for a big team like Pirates, but at the same time I would be happy to be part of Chippa United in the Premier League next season.

"I am an Orlando Pirates player and it is up to them to decide my future in football. I hope to meet with coach Palacios when I come back to Johannesburg."

Thwala made his ambitions known for next season.

"I want regular game-time, whether I play for Pirates or Chippa. My dream is playing for the national Under-23 side next season."

Chippa team manager Wanda Mbenguzana says they are still to meet with Pirates regarding Thwala’s future.
