Sunshine Stars have admitted to the pressure of being Nigeria's only continental representatives, but have welcomed the challenge.
The Akure club face holders Esperance on Match day One of the CAF Champions League group phase and coach Gbenga Ogunbote accepts that the task is daunting.
“We are under pressure as the only side representing Nigeria on the continent, but I am convinced that we will do well.
“Esperance are a good side but if we can get a win against the defending champions, it will help us boost morale for the rest of the competition,” he said.
The club have moved their training to Benin ahead of Sunday's game against the north Africans.
