The proposed Freedom Cup game between AmaZulu and Orlando Pirates which was scheduled for the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday has been cancelled.

The tournament was said to have been organised by Durban-based company FN Printing solutions, with both the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport and Ukhozi FM being partners.

But Usuthu marketing and brand manager Lunga Sokhela confirms that the game has been cancelled due to “logistics issues”.

However, Sokhela assures fans that the friendly game against Manchester United set for the Moses Mabhida Stadium on July 18 will go on as scheduled.
