Chippa United coach Roger Sikhakhane says that his side have already started preparations for life in the elite league.

Chippa completed the mother of all football fairytales when they defeated Santos 4-3 to win the Promotional Play-offs by gaining eight points in the mini league.

"We have already signed players for next season and we are prepared for life in the PSL.

"We knew that it was not going to be easy, playing against an experienced Thanda Royal Zulu side and players such as Eleazar Rogers and Erwin Isaacs was a tough task but we are not going to the PSL to add numbers," the coach said

The Cape side did not exist until 2010 and have only spent 24 months in the Vodacom League and National First Division and will now be competing with the big boys of the elite league.

Sikhakhane revealed that he will be continuing as the leader of the technical team as his mandate was always to take the side to the PSL.

"When I first took over, the chairman said to me that I should take the team to the PSL, I took it as a difficult task but I knew we had capabilities of promotion."
