Augusto Palacios has invited three Orlando Pirates development players to train with the first team; if they impress their move to the senior team could be made permanent.

Central defender Mbongeni 'Shoes' Gumede, goalkeeper Thando Nkala and forward Linda Shiba are the new faces.

Palacios tells Bucs' official website he believes the player have gained enough experience at junior level to adapt to the first team.

"Linda and Shoes have played extremely well in the National First Division for Blackburn Rovers and Sivutsa Stars respectively," Palacios tells Pirates' website.

"Shoes is the captain of the Under-17 national team and was also made captain of Sivutsa Stars.

"I think such players deserve to be given a chance to prove themselves in the senior team. They have been with club for many years and these are the type of players we want to have coming through the ranks."
