The Brazilians landed Edward Manqele from Free State Stars yesterday, and the acqusition of the 23-year-old from New Edubiase makes it four strikers at Chloorkop, along with Katlego Mphela and Nyasha Mushekwi.
Edubiase deputy CEO Alex Ackumey tells Oman FM that Baffour has signed a two-year deal.
“I can confirm to you that Baffour has officially signed a two-year deal with Sundowns with an option to extend by a year on the cards.
“We believe South Africa is the best place for him to start. Both parties are delighted and satisfied with the details. We had a lot of offers form him, but Sundowns is a good club with huge prospect and I believe he will shine.”
Baffour finished top of the scoring charts last season with 21 goals and joins countryman Mumuni Abubaker at Chloorkop.
