Kamwendo in action for Malawi

Kamwendo in shock Sundowns move

Josephy Kamwendo in shock Mamelodi Sundowns move

Posted: 19 June 2012 Time: 07:23 pm

KickOff.com has learnt that Malawi's Josephy Kamwendo is on the verge of signing for Mamelodi Sundowns.

The former Orlando Pirates midfielder may become a Brazilian as early as Wednesday morning if all goes well in terms of negotiations between the two parties.

"Sundowns have been monitoring Kamwendo and a deal may happen, but we will have to wait until at least Wednesday morning to find out if it goes through but I see no reason why it cannot," reveals a source.

Sundowns PRO Kabelo Mosito was not in a position to comment about Kamwendo when we called him this evening.

"I think you must call me around 8:30pm … I have to check something first," he says.

'Shakira' currently plays in his home country for MTL Wanderers.

He'll be the best signee. Shakira will suit Sundowns style perfectly as he's a ball player and a good passer of the ball. If indeed he's to sign then, Sundowns would have made a perfect decision in acquiring players after a long time. Welcome back Shakira..

And they have been monitoring Charles Motlohi, since he got out of jail. He too is likely to make a surprise re-appearance for these jokes. By the way; Lovers Mohlala is replacing Baloyi as Marketing Manager.

People should not forget that all you need to play for Sundowns is brains, and the last I saw of 'Shakira', he was misunderstood @Pirates.

It was worsened by his bad english, but his former team-mates, especially the captain failed him even worse!

Kamwendo :"Captain, I think I'm cramping".

Lekgwathi :"You're not, you're Joseph"! Lmfao!
