English clubs interested in Andile Jali

Posted: 19 June 2012 Time: 12:37 pm

Bafana Bafana midfielder Andile Jali is set to leave Orlando Pirates, with clubs in England weighing up bids for the 22-year-old.

Jali was linked with a move to an unnamed Bundesliga club last week but KickOff.com can reveal that the Premier League now looks his more likely destination.

Agent Paschalis Tountouris of Prosport International admits that there is real interest in signing the former AmaTuks player and believes Jali has played his last game for The Buccaneers after helping them win two successive PSL Trebles.

"I think he will be leaving," Tountouris tells KickOff.com. "There is interest from England but we have to be very careful which kind of club he chooses.

"We are looking for the best place for Jali to go because it's important that the first move to Europe has to be successful. He would like to go to Europe but only to the right club."

Jali has a contract with Pirates that expires in 2014, meaning that any interested clubs would have to make a sizeable bid to lure him away from Parktown.

At present, he would not meet the strict requirements for a UK permit, having not started enough competitive games for South Africa, but that is unlikely to be a major problem given his status as an emerging star.

All the best And's mfowam, phela if you leave sek'phelile ngabo! They'll have to rely on an old pimp-cum-hustler called Benson, who just yesterday roefed his own team-mate at gunpoint in Tembisa.

When quizzed about his whereabouts as a prime suspect, Mhlongo had a tight alibi because he confidently said: "I was with the chairman at the crime scene". Lol.

Dunuza & Zebras...hlalani phantsi zinja..the treble champions players don`t go to SWAK team oversees to trial...OK??????

Our players are not desperate like yours who came back after failing trials from mediocre teams....with long tails between their legs in shame......

This is the country jewel.....best talent at his position.....even the old topies like Letsholonyane who have given up on any overseas move & content with being part of the animal farm in Naturena can
attest to that......

yes i said it!!!!!

If this boy leaves OP need to start their pre-seaso ealry to find another wining team without him coz he was the winning link there. When not there Pirates only played draws and that will be a setback
