The 25-year-old has been in high demand after a breakthrough 2011/12 campaign, when he scored 11 League goals to finish third behind Siyabonga Nomvete and Eleazar Rodgers.
Manqele tells KickOff.com that he is keen for the situation to be resolved this week, and a source at Ea Lla Koto suggest it might be the case.
“It’s a matter of deciding between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns and that decision might be taken this week; no-one really knows,” the source says.
“The meeting started yesterday and the player is just waiting for the outcome and then to move to his new team. But he was told to report to training yesterday and he did.”
Kickoff.com will keep you posted when the club makes its decision.
