Rantie, Erasmus swap deal on the cards

Tokelo Rantie and Kermit Erasmus are on the brink of swapping clubs

Believe it or not, Tokelo Rantie and Kermit Erasmus are on the brink of swapping clubs.

KickOff.com has gathered over a number of days that Orlando Pirates may offer Rantie to SuperSport United in exchange for Erasmus.   Pirates are negotiating with Swedish club Hasselholm to buy Rantie outright after his loan spell ended, but instead of keeping him, if of course Pirates succeed in negotiations with Hasselholm, they are likely to ship him off to SuperSport United in favour of signing Erasmus.   "Pirates are still talking to Hasselholm to buy Rantie, but it is almost a done deal… The challenge with the SuperSport deal is that Rantie wants to play for Pirates," reveals a source.   We contacted a different source and he also insisted that the Rantie/Erasmus deal is imminent.   "It is going to happen," he confirms.   Rantie scored seven goals in seven League starts for Bucs last season, while Erasmus started 10 League games and he managed to score five goals for Matsatsantsa.   Follow me on Twitter @TTM16

Pirates fans will definitely not be happy about this, my take however is that Khoza and his team have been very tactical lately and wouldn't even dare make this deal happen if they didn't see its benefits. I swear they have a plan that needs specifically Erasmus and with Pirates great midfield, Erasmus will excel... He is a good player but so is Rantie.

Soon people will realize that Rantie is no different from Mabena and Ndulula, but Palakalo has seen that. Erasmus is good but I dont't think he will be able to handle pressure that comes with playing for a not so small team like Rats. He was good for AmaBinneplaas since there was no pressure there but always struggled in Bafana jersey.

This is kickoff trying to destabilise the ship,Khoza is an astute businessman & a damn good administrator he won't do this swap deal why would Bucs buy a player outright and then ship him off somewhere? Bucs must calm down & relax this will NEVER happen
