Chippa United are set to lose defender Roscoe Pietersen and striker Joshua Sauls to SuperSport United and Bloemfontein Celtic, respectively.

Pietersen is reported to have already agreed on personal terms with United, while Sauls says he expects his agent to meet with Celtic and finalise his deal soon.

Siwelele were also interested on Pieterson, but the Cape Town-born defender opted to move to Gauteng.

The defender was also linked to Orlando Pirates in January.

Chippa team manager Wandisile Mbenguzana confirms that Matsatsantsa have approached them for Pieterson, but says they are still hopeful of holding onto the player until next season.

"We still have an option on his contract," Mbenguzana says. "We are currently focusing on the Promotional Play-offs and hope to meet his agent soon to discuss his future."

Pieterson is cousin to Orlando Pirates defender Robyn Johannes.
