Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Tshepo Ramokala has surfaced at newly-promoted University of Pretoria as he bids to bring to an end a depressing spell at Chloorkop.

Ramokala was signed by Sundowns from Platinum Stars two years ago, but never played in an official match for the Brazilians, with his only game-time coming during a brief loan spell at Moroka Swallows midway through his stay at Chloorkop.

With his contract up at the end of the month and not being renewed, Ramokala has stepped up his quest for find a new club.

The 29 year-old has joined a group of players that have assembled for trials early in Tshwane as the club plots its way for life in the PSL.

Ramokala has spent the last six months training with the Sundowns reserve team after turning down the offer of being handed his clearance without compensation at the beginning of the year.
