Mamelodi Sundowns want to sign Maritzburg United defender Mor Diouf

Mamelodi Sundowns is leading the race to sign Maritzburg United defender Mor Diouf but the Team of Choice’s chairman Farook Kadodia insists he will only sell at the right price. 

According to Kadodia, Bidvest Wits has also shown interest in the Senegalese along with a few overseas clubs.   Kadodia confirms that he has been approached by both Sundowns and Wits about the 24 year-old.   "Right now I would say Sundowns are in pole position and ahead of Wits because they have shown a bit more seriousness in their interest.    "At the right price I am willing to let the player go but I must insist no concrete offers have been tabled as yet," says Kadodia.   Sundowns – just like Wits – are in the hunt for a steady central defender.    Diouf had a superb season last term playing every minute of all 34 official games played by the club – the first time that a Maritzburg United player has played all games for the club in their PSL history.    Maritzburg could also lose Nigerian winger Felix Obada who has attracted the interest of Moroka Swallows.

The only investment we can make is to exchange Mwanjali for that Zambian central defender we were pursuing from TP Mazembe.

This Diouf, is like Matoho,Booth, abo malankani who will always be exposed when up against versatile players.

Please, Please, if needs promote on boy from the juniors at the least.

Hayi, I am not yet to be impressed. Lets hope he does well though for the sake of BB.

Downs were really let down by their defence the past campaign. That area needs serious reinforcement. Whether this guys is the right calibre of a player to fill the void is however very questionable.

Wht is wrong with sunflop? Currently they r the most balanced team but they still want to end ths young boy's career, anyway money talks.they have to admit that they blundered by releasing Cale and Cownyeza replacing them wit laffor. It seems lyk ths players when they receive hefty salaries they tend to forget that they are here for the team. Motsepe should stop payin those huge salaries.
