Rantie wants to stay with Pirates

Tokelo Rantie might join Orlando Pirates on a permanent deal

Bafana Bafana striker Tokelo Rantie, who spent the last season on loan at Orlando Pirates from Swedish side IFK Hassleholm, might join the Buccaneers on a permanent deal next week.

The 21-year-old from Parys played a crucial role for the League champions in his first PSL season and has attracted offers from other Swedish clubs like Malmo, but the player’s business manager Nadeem Mahmood says the striker might stay with the Buccaneers.   "TK had a great season with Orlando Pirates and for his career’s sake we want him to stay with Orlando Pirates," Mahmood tells KickOff.com.   "We are ready to contact his club but unfortunately Swedish clubs are on holidays until next week. We will get in touch with them regarding the player joining Pirates on a permanent basis."   Rantie scored the first of his seven goals after coming on as s substitute against Jomo Cosmos.    Follow me on Twitter @ZolaDoda

I'll b glad if this boy stays. He is quick and he can finish. He will also learn a lot from the best striker SA ever produced, i.e. Benni.

Nosi.....to the contrary, I think he should persue a European career and grow.

The last thing he wants is to be left behind by one Andile Jali who's attracted inerest from Stuttgart, in Germany.

When Lekgwathi quizzed him about his possible departure, Jali confidently sai: "Ewe kap, ndiya e-'Stewgad', andazi ndizay'fumana ibhasi okanye yi-trein". LOL.

Now this is music to my ears pure music. This boy can grow and be a hit playing against Mzansi's top marksman.
Let him stay and scoop every trophy there is just before he joins Ibrahimovic at Milan.

can i sponsor u with a colour television?? ur black and white is obviously not showing u correct pictures. Gould was a star in dat game, pity Khumalo, Manyesa, Khuboni, Pienaar were no where to be seen defensively, hence Steve released those cows.
