Baloyi: I'm not scared anymore

Kaizer Chiefs Lucky Baloyi: I'm not scared anymore

Posted: 7 June 2012 Time: 08:42 am

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Lucky Baloyi says the Amakhosi faithful can expect a much-improved performance from him next season because he is not scared anymore.

'Sheriff' was named Chiefs' Most Improved Player this season, and he says he is desperate to kick on in the 2012/13 campaign.

"When the past season started I lacked a bit of confidence," he tells the club's official website. "I used to get scared a lot. When we played I used to lose a lot of balls during matches and I used to play the ball backwards instead of forward a lot of time.

"But now I can cool down the game, I can take shots at goal and I play the ball forward."

He adds: "I am looking forward to the new season and I am going to work even harder to improve my game so that I can set new standards for myself."

Play as a team ,and I think we need to take a leaf from Orlando Pirates team = "Never say die attitude"

If we can adopt that then we stand a great chance .

Pirates for the past 2 season , I still rate it as the only number1 team that still can come back from 2-0 down and score 3 goals and with the game.

That's very special and only teamwork, hardwork and the right mindset can help you achieve that ...we need to put our zebra tails between our legs and brush our zebra stripes and take a leaf from Orlando Pirates.

Gucci, morning yasedladleni......Eish, you can say that again nge-'fighting spirit'!

Apparently it comes from coach Augusto's deejaying skills on the turntables @training, bambiza u-Dj Sbuda(because of his similar spirit voice)! Lol.

Meyiwa and Sangweni prefer their cassette stereo's to listen to Thwalofu Namankentshane rather......bathi le-'hawza music yakhona' iyababhora bona! Lol.

I'm just tired of our "sisie attitude" and the approach..... once we concede a goal them we're shattered,no direction and hopeless......we have to realy to Siphiwe Tshabalala to make a plan for the entire team.

If he's not around we end up losing the match ....that's dissapointing.

i so wish baxter can partner you with yeye, and put tinashe on the bench! i mean who said a number 6's job is only to defend? yeye + sherrif will be like jali + manyisa, if not better.

Baloyi is a very special player and I do believe he will be even better next season... I fully agree with u Joe Banana, he should play wit Yeye in the middle. The coach just need to change the players attitude in the game and bring team and fighting spirit to the team!!!!

@Diehardbucs.....for someone who claims to be a church/God person you sound so negative not only about Chiefs but life itself...you are always preaching your so called Christianity on this forum....

you just be friend with Pastor Mboro or you are part of his congregation.....

I always read your baseless comments on this forum and you have nothing to offer. all you do is criticize our SA talented players, to you if a players if a player does not sing or play for Orlando Pirates he is a cow..How stupid is that?

Don't come with your church approach to this forum we don't your God and Christianity here... Tell Mboro to stop lying to the poor.

You are not scared until you meet Jali & Manyisa. We all know what they did to you in 23 minutes & many M.fielders in this country. The likes of Pattison are now Wits material, Nyatama a bench warmer, Nyandoro a joke, Nengomasha a useless hobo, etc.

Next time when you speak, chose your words wisely or the terrible twins will fasttrack you to Vodacom league where you belong.
